Autoflowering cannabis seeds are of one type of genetics, namely those that have the genetics known as Ruderalis in their DNA. These are strains originating from areas with extreme weather conditions, such as the north of Kazakhstan. The main feature of this genetics is the extremely fast flowering rate and the fact that flowering is not dependent on photoperiod but occurs naturally once the plant is mature enough.

What else is the difference between autoflowering and feminized?Complete growth and development in less nutritious soil. Fast growth and low height means they don't need much fertilizer. Autoflowers are not as hungry as their photoperiod cousins, another result of their hardy nature.
While photoperiod strains require a complex nutritional strategy that changes throughout the growing cycle, autos can be kept to a minimum. Another thing is that autoflowering feminized varieties are hybrids that combine the characteristics of autoflowers and feminized varieties.
