Does cannabis have nutrient burns

Does cannabis have nutrient burns

When experimenting with feeding schemes, young growers are faced with the fact that nutrient burn affects the plant and invariably affects the yield. Gardeners who believe in the recipes “urea + iodine + potassium permanganate + brilliant green”, etc. are at a special risk group. We will learn how to recognize a chemical burn and how to save a plant.

Hemp root feeding for everyone in the world

You can “burn” hemp with the following substances:

  • Nitrogen. Many make a “nitrogen shock” during the pre-bloom (the first two weeks of flowering). At this point, it is very easy to overfeed the plant. From it, the upper leaves become dark green, the lower ones fall off.
  • Iron. Yellow-brown spots appear between the veins of the leaves, the growth of the root system slows down, as a result, the leaves die off. An excess of iron blocks the absorption of phosphorus and manganese.
  • Manganese and magnesium. The leaves become yellower, interveinal chlorosis appears, brown spots.
  • Copper. Cannabis does not grow, the leaves turn brown and fall off.
  • Molybdenum. Due to its excess, copper ceases to be absorbed, the plant “twists” the leaves, they turn pale and die.
  • Zinc - milk spots appear on the lower leaves, the plate changes shape, becomes covered with waves. This leads to necrosis and leaf fall.
  • Bor. With its excess, the tops of the plant die off.

Saving cannabis from nutrient overload

Water only with clean, pH-adjusted water. Remember, when the bushes are burned, any top dressing is contraindicated for them. The plant draws moisture from the soil through the roots, and evaporates into the environment through the leaves. When the leaves are burned, the plant has nowhere to put the moisture coming from the roots. With additional feeding, the roots weaken, and the concentration of salts in the soil increases. In order not to disturb root respiration and balance the upper and lower parts of the plant, it is worth reducing watering a little. As soon as you notice that a new vegetative mass is growing on the bush (shoots have appeared, and the top has begun to stretch up again), you can return to the standard diet.

When using foliar application, be aware that foliar sprays can cause lens effects. This results in white, yellow or burnt spots. They are easily confused with nutritional deficiencies. Some sprays can cause chemical burns.

Hemp light burns

With an excess of light, chlorophyll is partially destroyed, the leaves turn yellow. In strong light, the growth of cannabis slows down. It grows into a squat shrub with short internodes and broad leaves. The appearance of a bronze color of the leaves indicates a significant excess of light, and if nothing is done, it is easy to burn.

Your hemp will love modern fertilizers

Why should you not fertilize plants with organic fertilizers, such as manure? Not to mention the fact that in such cases it is impossible to calculate the concentration, natural organics are not disinfected. It may contain seeds of other plants that will happily germinate in your greenhouse, as well as pathogenic flora, pests, and diseases.

The dream of every grower is a luxurious, green greenhouse. It is possible to achieve this: it is enough to buy strains from trusted seed banks, read the advice of a progressive gardener on the Coffeeshop® blog and use good compounds in the right proportions.

Purchase the best organic marijuana fertilizer shipped around the globe and grow the most delicious tomatoes (do you remember that the cultivation of cannabis is illegal in Ukraine?) to the delight of yourself and your friends.
